Building the Future, One Community at a Time
After four transformative years serving the City of New York as Commissioner of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development, and Workforce, I am proud to announce the re-launch of my business, Metro Futures.
My recent time in public service was defined by a commitment to solving the most pressing housing and economic challenges in our city’s history. From overseeing record-breaking affordable housing production to spearheading the landmark City of Yes for Housing Opportunity zoning reforms, I have seen firsthand what it takes to move large-scale projects from a visionary concept to a finished home, a thriving commercial hub or a revitalized neighborhood.
Today, Metro Futures returns with a deeper level of expertise and a reinforced mission. We are uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between complex government regulation and the goals of private developers and non-profit organizations. Whether it is navigating the new 485x tax incentive landscape, commercial to residential conversions, delivering transformational rezonings, executing strategic neighborhood plans, or delivering major economic development projects, we bring a "double-perspective" that is unmatched.
Our core task remains the same: focusing on the fundamentals that allow New Yorkers to succeed—a good home, a stable job, and the opportunity to thrive. I look forward to partnering with you to build a more affordable and opportunity rich future for New York.
